Hi, my name is Janet Heeran. I live on a farm on the side of a mountain in North Cork with my husband, children and assorted animals. I write about life in the countryside – its characters, landscape and customs. I also write about the influence of the catholic church on Irish women’s lives. When I am not writing, reading and occasionally standing in gaps, I teach in primary schools.
